The Grandview Cabin

 

The Grandview is a log cabin designed with spectacular views of the Lower Mountain Fork River from all vantage points. The spacious 12 x 24 foot deck sits just 2 feet from the edge of the bluff overlooking the river 30 feet below.

 

The Grandview’s great room has a 20-ft cathedral ceiling with 3 tiers of floor-to-ceiling glass on the river-side. Guests have a magnificent view of the river, the cypress island, and surrounding woodlands from the ground floor as well as from the second floor balcony and bedroom. The second floor has a full-view glass door and large picture window. We think you’ll agree The Grandview could not have been given a more appropriate name!

 

The furnishings and amenities of the Grand View won’t disappoint either. Queen size beds, rustic cedar furniture, walk-in closets, gas fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and a 42” plasma HDTV with DirectTV. Outside you will find a large deck, charcoal grill, fire pit with seating and a large outdoor hot tub.

The property is shaded with mature pine, oak, maple and dogwood trees, and cypress trees line the riverbank and cover the island in the river.  River Top Resort is surrounded by Weyerhaeuser Company timberlands and dirt roads and it is a great place to take a quiet walk, mountain bike ride, or four-wheeling adventure.  Wildlife abounds including white-tailed deer, wild turkey, wood ducks, bald eagles, and even a herd of wild horses that roam freely in the area around the property.
